Best 1440p Gaming Card – PC gamers that require a bit more FPS may switch to the best 1440p graphics cards. Replacing your old 1080p GPU with a new one that delivers clearer, sharper pictures and a better resolution without burning a hole in your pocket like many premium GPUs might be a wise decision.

High-resolution gaming, in particular, may rapidly rack up the bill. It doesn’t matter if you can’t purchase a 4K-capable GPU for your gaming Machine or don’t wish to spend the extra money on a more expensive 4K display; you could still improve the overall quality of your gameplay.

Because only the most expensive cards can provide flawless 4K performance, gaming at 1440p is a decent solution between quality and price. In comparison to your existing 1080p setup, you’ll observe a big improvement and won’t be spending nearly as much money upgrading to 4K. In addition, you should be able to afford a 1440p display with the savings you’ve realized.

Best 1440p Graphic Card

These are my favorite 1440p graphic card (not ranked) with some popular card benchmarks.

Best 1440p Gaming Card

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070

Compute Units: 5,888

Core clock: 1.50 GHz (1.73 GHz boost)

Memory: 8 GB GDDR6

Memory clock: 14Gbps

Power connectors: 1x PCIe 8-pin (adapter to 1x 12-pin included)

Outputs: HDMI 2.1, 3x DisplayPort 1.4a

When it comes to 1440p gaming, nothing beats the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 since it’s so affordable and provides speed that’s on par with Nvidia’s RTX 2080 Ti. Aside from seamless 1440p gaming, the RTX 3070 may offer 4K gaming to the market for the first time with its performance. It’s also worth noting that this GPU is reasonably priced. It’s no surprise that it’s at the top of our list.

AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT

Compute Units: 2,048

Core Clock: 2,359 MHz (2,589 MHz boost)

Memory: 8GB GDDR6

Memory Clock: 16Gbps

Power Connectors: 1 x 8-pin

Outputs: 1 x DisplayPort 1.4a, 1 x HDMI 2.1 VRR and FRL

Must Read – Complete PC build under 30000

Radeon RX 6600 XT delivers excellent 1440p performance without stressing your PC’s resources or making it heat. And, even though it is somewhat more costly than the RTX 3060 while providing a comparable level of power, it is more than capable of meeting the demands of the majority of customers. However, as previously said, it seems there is no cooler GPU available. Pushing it will not result in thermal throttling or overheating. That said, ray tracing isn’t included, and it might not be flawless. If you’re looking for the finest 1440p graphics card of 2022 based on features and price, this card is a great option.

AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT

Compute Units: 2,560

Core clock: 2,424 MHz (2,581 MHz boost)

Memory: 12GB GDDR6

Memory clock: 16Gbps

Power connectors: 6 pin + 8 pin

Outputs: 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.1 4K120Hz/8K60Hz VRR

While AMD’s CPUs have been a good alternative to Intel’s, it has struggled to distinguish itself from Nvidia’s GPUs. This is made worse by the fact that the latest AMD Radeon RX 6700XT GPUs aren’t much cheaper than their direct rival.

The 6700 XT, on the other side, does not have to be less expensive because its performance is so excellent. This GPU is capable of running your games at their highest settings at 1440p. AMD has ray tracing, even if it isn’t perfected yet.

AMD Radeon RX 6800

CUDA Cores: 3,840

Core Clock: 1.82 GHz (2.10 GHz boost)

Memory: 16GB GDDR6

Memory Clock: 16Gbps

Power Connectors: 2 x 8 pin

Outputs: DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, HDMI 2.1 VRR, and FRL

AMD isn’t confined to the low- and mid-end markets anymore, despite popular belief. If you’re looking for a high-end video card that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, go no further than the AMD Radeon RX 6800! A better bargain than its direct competitor, the RTX 3070, this GPU boasts superb ray-tracing at 1440p (and sometimes even decent gameplay at 4K) owing to its VRAM. It will be significantly quicker thanks to AMD’s Smart Access Memory technology.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

CUDA Cores: 4,864

Core Clock: 1,410MHz (1,665MHz boost)

Memory: 8GB GDDR6

Memory Clock: 14Gbps

Power Connectors: 1x 12-pin

Outputs: 3x DisplayPort 1.4a, 1x HDMI 2.1

If you’re looking for a powerful graphics card, go no further than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. While it can play certain games at a higher definition, it truly excels at 1440p. Even though ray tracing has indeed been available for some time now, the 3060 Ti seems to do a fantastic job of integrating this without sacrificing anything in terms of speed. Despite being a fantastic graphics card, it’s not ideal since it ships with a 12-pin power connection that isn’t universally accepted. However, an 8-pin converter is included. When it comes to graphics-intensive applications, this GPU is far cooler than some of its siblings.
