Best Gaming Phones Under 15000 (Made in India)

Do you know? 10000 to 15000 is the most competitive zone and 90% of users don’t need the phone above it.

Why not! Because the specifications we get in this range are insane.

These phones are the best gaming phone under 15000 and also made in India.

  • Realme 6
  • Redmi Note 9 Pro
  • Realme XT
  • Vivo Z1 Pro
  • Samsung M31

Let review these devices.

Realme 6

It has a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Realme 6 has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage with UFS 2.1. The main camera is of 64+8+2+2 MP and can record video up to 4K at 30 fps wit EIS support. The front is a single camera 16 MP which can record video up to 1080p at 30 fps.

It is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T an octa-core processor. It was introduced in 2019 and is based on 12 nm architecture. G90T has 2 powerful ARM Cortex A76 cores with max 2.05 frequency and 6 power-efficient Cortex A55 cores with max 2 GHz frequency. For graphics it has an ARM Mali G76 clocked at 800 MHz.

Realme 6 has 4300 mAh battery and to charge it you get 30 Watt charger, which can charge from 0-100% in just 55 minutes.

We tested the famous game – PUBG. When we started the temperature of the phone was 28.5°C and the battery was 52%. The graphic setting was HDR with an ultra frame rate. The game was looking beautiful and I haven’t experienced any lag. After 45 minutes it starts lagging because of the heat. The temperate increased to 44.8°C and the battery dropped to 40%.

Redmi Note 9 Pro

Note 9 Pro has a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection 5. It has max 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. It has a main quad-camera of 64+8+5+2 MP which can record video up to 4K at 30 fps and no EIS support. The front camera is 16 MP which can only record 1080p video at 30 fps.

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. It is a mid-range octa-core processor. 720G has two ARM Cortex-A76 (Kryo 465 Gold) cores at 2.3 GHz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 (Kryo 465 Silver) cores at 1.8 GHz. For GPU it has Adreno 618.

You get 30 Watt charger to charge that massive 5020 mAH battery.

I tested PUBG and my battery was at 90% at HD setting and high framerate. It was smooth at the start but as soon as I sat on the car and drove at full speed, there was lag. It was taking time to render the texture. Note 9 Pro heats up quickly but the temperature didn’t exceed 42°C in 45 minutes and the battery only dropped 8%.

Realme XT

XT comes with a 6.4-inch display with 403 ppi density and has Corning Gorilla Glass 5. In the back you get 64+8+2+2 quad camera and the front camera has 16 MP. The main camera can record video up to 4K with 30 fps and the selfie camera can only record to 1080p.

It has a 4000 mAh non-removal battery, a 20 Watt charger and supports VOOC 3.0. The max variant comes with 8 Gb Ram and 128 Gb storage.

Realme XT has a snapdragon 712 processor and was launched in early 2019. It is a 12 nm octa-core processor in which 2 cores are Cortex-A75 with 2.3 GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 with 1.7 or 1.8 GHz. For GPU  you get Adreno 616.

I tested PUBG my battery was at 80% and played the game at HD and high framerate. The experience was not that smooth so I reduced the setting to balanced and ultra framerate.  In just 30 minutes the battery dropped to 8% and the temperature was at 39°C.

Vivo Z1 Pro

Z1 Pro has a 6.53-inch display. The screen to body ratio is 83.4% with the aspect ratio of 19:9. The main camera comes with 16-8+2 MP and can shoot video to 4k resolution in 30 fps. The selfie camera is 32 MP and can record video up to 1080 at 60 fps. Both the camera doesn’t have EIS support.

It has a 5000 mAh battery and comes with an 18 Watt fast charger. The processor is snapdragon 712 same as Realme XT. The game performance will be almost the same as it but there are also other factors (like how optimized the OS is?) that can hamper it.

I played PUBG for 1 hour at HD and balance setting with max framerate. 1 hour of gaming led to a 16% battery drop and the temperature was at 35°C which was even better than Realme XT.

Samsung M31

I added this for those users who prefer branded phone and also because it has a 6000 mAh massive battery that comes with a 15-watt charger (lol). Wow, the charging will take a lot of time.

The rear camera is 64+8+5+5 MP and can record to 4K with EIS. the selfie camera comes with 36 MP which can record video up to 4K. This is the only mobile in this list that does that.

M31 has a 6.4-inch display with 403 PPI density and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It comes with 6 GB ram and storage options of 64 and 128 GB.

M31 comes with Samsung’s in-house processor i.e. Exynos 9611. It is an octa-core processor in which 4 ARM Cortex A73 cores clocked at  2.3 GHz to handle heavy tasks and four power-efficient ARM Cortex A53 at max 1.7 GHz. For GPU it has Mali G72.
I know it was weaker than Snapdragon 712, so the setting was at balance and I played for almost 45 minutes. The battery only drop only 2% and was at 39°C temperature. So if the graphic doesn’t matter to you then this is the perfect gaming phone for you at 15000.
