Best Phone Under 8000

Hi everyone lets talk about the budget phones. If your budget is less than 8000, then which phone should you buy? This is what I am going to tell you this on this post.

Here is the list of 5 best smartphones under 8000.

  • Realme C3
  • Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1
  • Realme Narzo 10A
  • Realme 3i
  • Samsung Galaxy M10

Here is the detailed review.

Realme C3

C3 is Flipkart exclusive phone and the basic variant 3 GB and 32 GB storage starts at 7999 and 4 GB & 64 GB will cost 8999. C3 comes with a new Realme UI and 120Hz of touch-sensing which will give smooth feel while playing games.

It comes with a 6.5 inch IPS LCD drop notch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Pixel per density is 270 and the screen to body ratio is 82.7%.

The back has a beautiful pattern design and even though it is made of polycarbonate plastic, it doesn’t look like a budget phone. The plastic seems strong and durable.

It has main dual cameras of 12+2 MP and can record video up to 1080p at 30 fps. In Front, you get a single selfie shooter of 5 MP which can shoot full HD video at 30 fps. Image quality is not that great but is above average. Selfies look great but lack details.

C3 is powered by 12 nm Meditek Helio G70 which was introduced in early 2020. It is an octa-core processor in which you get 2 fast ARM Cortex-A75 at 2 GHz and 6 power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 with up to 1.7 GHz. For Graphic you have Mali G52 at 820 GHz.

This is the best performing processor in this budget and you can play heavy games like PUBG at extreme frame rate (In smooth graphics). You can further increase the performance to 60 FPS by using the GFX tool.

With 60 FPS and 120 Hz touch-sensing, the gaming experience is awesome. You can play heavy games for hours with no heating issues.

It comes with a 5000 mAh battery with a standard charger which will easily give you a screen on time of 7-8 hours under heavy usage.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1

Max Pro M1 was launched in 2018 and I have been using it for almost 16 months. The 3 GB ram variant is coming at 7500 and the 6 GB at 10500.

It comes with stock UI and since its launch, I have received 2 android OS upgrades with an irregular security patch.

It comes with a 5.9 inch IPS display. Gorilla glass is missing but the screen is strong and screen to body ratio is 76.2%.

It has a metal unibody design. This is the only phone on the list which is a metal build. The device is strong, durable, and will easily last for 4-5 years.

In 3 GB variant, the rear camera is 13+5 MP and in 6 GB you get 16+5 MP camera. It can shoot 4K video at 30 fps. You get 8 MP selfie shooter in 3 GB variant and 16 MP in 6 GB which can record video at 1080p.

Image specs are great at this price point. The stock camera app makes image poor. The images tend to have more brightness, lack details, and the selfies were over beautified.

To solve it, just install Gcam. The image taken from Gcam looks great, there are lots of mods and I will say it has the best camera at this price range.

It comes with 5000 mAh battery and standard charger (which will die after 6 months in most cases). Under normal usage, the screen on time is around 6-7 hours which is a disappointment.

It has Snapdragon 636 which is an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz and for graphic it has Adreno 509. It can easily handle a heavy app. The processor is great but the software updates mess it up.

Realme Narzo 10A

It is a smaller version of Narzo 10 and was launched in May 2020, which makes it the latest phone in the list. It has a 6.5-inch LCD display and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The screen to body ratio is 83.3%. The back is made of polycarbonate plastic and comes with Realme branding in the big font which is seems printed

The main highlight of this phone is it rare triple camera of 12+2+2 MP which can only record video up to 1080p. And the front is a single selfie 5 MP shooter.

Images taken from the rear camera looks great in daylight. The colors are slightly undersaturated only in bright colors. Shadow lacks the detail but considering the price point, it is great. Selfies are okay, you can get many details in 5 MP camera.

It has 5000 mAh batter and to charge it, you get a 10-watt standard charger with reverse charging support.  It can easily give you 7-8 hours of screen on time.

The processor is Helio G70 same as Realme C3 so the performance-wise this processor is the best.

Realme 3i

It was launched in July 2019. Realme 3i comes with a 6.2 inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and the screen to body ratio is 81.3%.

The one thing great about Realme phones is that they always bring some changes to design. In 3i you get a diamond-cut back design with matt finish. Back is made of plastic but gives a premium look.

The processor used in this device is of MediaTek Helio P60. It is of 12 nm octa-core and launched in early 2018. It has 4 ARM Cortex-A73 cores and 4 small ARM Cortex-A53 cores, all cores can reach at 2 GHz frequency.

For graphics, it has Mali G72. Heavy games or apps like PUBG will lag but the gfx tool can help to tackle that problem.

3i has a 4230 mAh battery and comes with a 10-watt charger. You will easily get a backup of 1 day during normal uses.

The main camera is of 13+2 MP and can only record 1080p videos. In front, you get a single 13 MP camera that can also shoot 1080p videos.

The daylight pics has great details and photo taken in HDR looks crisp. Selfies are a little beautified and don’t look natural.

Samsung Galaxy M10

Samsung M10 launched in January 2019 and is the slimmest phone in this list. It has a 6.22-inch dew notch display. The screen to body ratio is 82.1% and an aspect ratio of 19.9.

The body is made of glossy plastic and the finishing is great. The thickness of the phone is 7.7 mm and weighs 163 grams.

M10 does not have a fingerprint sensor but supports face lock which is fast and responsive. The main camera is of 13+5 MP and can record video up to 1080p.

The front camera is only 5 MP and it can also record video in 1080p. The images is above average but lack edge detection

It comes with 3400 mAh and comes with a 5v-1a charger which will take around 2.5-3 hours to charge. The UI is smooth, looks good, and supports dual accounts.

For the processor, it has Exynos 7870 which is a 14 nm octa-core processor launched in February 2016. It has 8 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz. For graphics it has Mali-T830.

Heavy games like PUBG can be played but only in lowest setting. Even in the lowest setting, the game is not that smooth.

So, if you are looking for a branded budget phone then this is a perfect phone for you.
