Infinix hot 8


Infinix is known for giving phones with an insane feature at the lowest price. Hot 8 has 6.5 inch IPS LCD display with 16M colors.

The screen to body ratio is 81.5% and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It has a gradient back look really good and weighs only 179 grams.

In back you have 13+2 MP dual camera with QVGA low light sensor and can record video up to 1080p at 30 fps.

In front, you only get a single 8 MP selfie shooter with flash which can also shoot full HD videos.

This is the only device that comes with front flash inside those thin bezels. The photo quality is average you can’t expect much from a budget device.

It has a camera to API support, so just install GCam and you will get better photos.

It comes with 6 GB ram, 64 GB storage, a massive 5000 mAh non-removable battery with a 10-watt charger.

The battery will last almost a day in heavy usage. The OS is heavy, comes with lots of bloatware which do make phone little laggy.

It has a Mediatek Helio P22 octa-core processor. In P22 all the eight cores is of ARM Cortex-A53 clocked at 2.0GHz. It is backed by PowerVR GE8230 graphic with a max 65MHz frequency.

The processor is not a great performer but considering the price and competition, it is the best. 

Redmi 8a Dual

Xiaomi’s Redmi 8a Dual come 2 in our list. It has a 6.22-inch LCD display with 81.8% screen to body ratio and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The back is made of plastic but the device is solid. You cannot watch videos up to 720p on youtube but the display is good.

The design is almost similar to 7a with some change but doesn’t look that interesting.

The main camera is of 13+2 MP and the front selfie shooters is of 8 MP. Both can shoot a video up to 1080 at 30 fps.

The images under good lighting look good. Don’t expect a good color saturation or details.

It has 5000 mAh battery comes with a 10-watt charger (USB C type) but also supports fast-charging up to 18 watts.

You will easily get a backup of a day. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor and I won’t recommend using face unlock because it just takes a photo of the face which can be easily bypassed.

In processor, we have Snapdragon 439. It is an entry-level processor that has 8 ARM Cortex-A53m cores clocked at 2 GHz and also an older GPU i.e is Adreno 505. You won’t notice any lag under normal usage.

It is made for those who only play lite games, using social media apps and some regular browsing. PUBG is playable but only under the lowest setting.

Realme C2

C2 has a 6.5 inch LCD display with a screen to body ratio of 82.7%. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The back is made of plastic and has a diamond cut design which does look good. The design will attract the attention of lots of people and it does look premium.

It has a 4000 mAh battery and comes with a 10-watt charger. It will only last a day if you are a normal user.

It has an Helio P22 processor similar to Infinix hot 8. It comes in 2 & 3GB variant with 32 & 64 GB storage.

The phone can run PUBG but make sure you keep the settings to the minimum. C2 has a lot of bloatware that makes the OS heavy and has an android pie.

The main camera is of 13+2 MP and the selfie camera is of 5 MP. Both can shoot video up to 1080p at 30 fps.

Images from the camera is great under the outdoor condition and is a little bit softer in indoor lighting, The images are good considering the budget, it also has an HDR and portrait mode.

Vivo Y91i

This is the cheapest water notch design phone from Vivo. Y91I has 6.22 inch IPS display with 82.9% of screen to body ratio.

The back is made of polycarbonate plastic and is glossy, but it looks fantastic.

It comes infusion color, the black and blue variant look cool. It doesn’t look like a budget phone.

Y91i has a 4030 mah battery and will give you a backup of a day only if you are a normal user.

In the box, you will also get a protective case and a standard 5-watt charger. It will take around 2 hours to fully charge.

The processor an octa-core Helio P22 same as in Realme C2. The back camera is of 13 MP and the front one is of 5 MP.

Only the rear camera is capable of recording video in 1080p. It has all the basic sensors like accelerometer, proximity, and compass.

The fingerprint camera is missing and the face unlock is fast.

Motorola E6s

E6s was launched in September 2019. It has a 6.1 inch IPS display with 16M color support. The aspect ratio is 19.5:9 and the screen to body ratio is 80.4%.

It is a plastic build phone and has a removable back, which gives us the option to change it by buying it from Flipkart. Built quality is solid and the frame is rigid.

The back will get scratches easily so it should be used with a case and in the box, you will get a free plastic case.

It has a 3000 mAh removable battery which is the lowest in this list. It is okay for a normal user and it takes around 3 hours to fully charge the battery. For some, this might be a deal-breaker.

The good thing about this phone is that it has stock android which is well optimized and has less bloatware installed. 

Like the previous phone, it also comes with the same processor. When it comes to gaming Helio P22 may surprise you.

It can run PUBG at the lowest setting at 30 FPS. There is no known heating issue so you can play it for a longer duration.

The rare camera is of 13+2 MP and the front one is of 5 MP. Both the camera can shoot video at 1080p. The image quality is above average and the default camera has great and handy settings.
