Here is the detailed review –
Samsung did nothing with the design, it looks almost the same as the M10.
It has a 6.3-inch PLS TFT full HD with a water notch display. TFT technology was launched 5 years ago, seriously! Samsung why? Screen to body ratio is 83.6% with 409 PPI density.
The display is great, color is punchy with proper saturation. The experience you get watching videos is amazing.
Let talk about performance, it has Exynos 7904 which is an octa-core processor paired with Mali G71 MP2 GPU. It will lie between Snapdragon 632 and 636 which is acceptable.
It can easily run PUBG and Asphalt at medium settings. The rear camera is of 13+ 5 MP and the selfie camera is of 8 MP. Both can record video up to 1080p at 30 FPS.
For security it has a fingerprint sensor and face unlock. The fingerprint sensor is okay not fast. I won’t recommend using face unlock because anyone with your photo can unlock your device.
It has 5000 mAh battery with 15 watts fast charger, generally, in this price range, you only get a 10-watt charger.
M30 is made of plastic and is not that glossy, m30 comes with gradient color back which does look good. Even with such a 5000 mAh battery, the phone doesn’t look that thick.
The wow feature of this phone is its 6.4 inches full HD Super AMOLED screen with the aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
The notch is in U shaped and the bezels are quite slim. It comes with 32/128 GB storage built-in and can be further extended by adding an sd card in the dedicated card slot, so there won’t be any issue regarding storage.
The fingerprint sensor is slow and face unlock is faster but not secure. M30 comes with Exynos 7904 which is a mid-range octa processor and for GPU it has Mali G71 MP2 which lag behind the competition.
Battery life is great and takes 2 and a half hours to fully charge. The rear camera is of 13+5+5 MP, the daytime photo is great and low light photo lacks details and saturation. For selfies, it has 16 MP cam and is surprisingly good.
You can only record video up to 1080p at 30 fps with no stabilization and you cant change it with any app.
M01 is made of hard plastic. It doesn’t look slim, the width of the phone is 9.8 mm and honestly, it feels like a brick. M01 comes with 5.7 inches PLS TFT HD+ water notch display. The screen to body ratio is 78.1% and aspect ratio is 19:9.
M01 has Qualcomm SDM439 Snapdragon 439 which is an octa-core processor paired with Adreno 505 GPU. It can run heavy games like PUBG and Asphalt 9 but it will lag. M01 is ideal for a person who just wants a phone for browsing or watching movies.
The rear camera is 13+2 MP and the front is 5 MP. Images are okay and better than other Samsung budget phones.
It has average details and saturation. The selfie camera is okay can’t expect much from a budget device.
The battery is of 4000 mAh and doest support fast charging. Samsung has overpriced this phone and there is a pretty good phone that you can buy under 9000. (Link)
The phone looks slim and is lightweight. Just like M10, it has a dedicated slim and memory card slot.
The display is of 6.4 inches with HD+ resolution and 268 PPI. Screen to body ratio is of 85% and the aspect ratio is of 19.5:9.
It has Samsung in-house Exynos 7884 B processor which is an octa-core processor. It has 2 powerful ARM Cortex A73 with 1.6 GHz and 2 Cortex A53 with 1.35 GHz. 7884 is paired with Mali G71 MP2 GPU. M10S has 3 GB Ram and 32 GB internal storage.
You can play PUBG at a low setting, the medium setting may also work but it will have a little bit lag.
The phone is not that good at multitasking because of 3 GB ram but can still handle 4 to 5 apps in the background.
The rare camera is of 13+5 MP and the selfie camera is of 8 MP, both can record video up to 1080p at 30 FPS. Photo is good at daylight but at low lighting conditions, it struggles.
The battery is of 4000 mAh and comes with type C fast 15 Watt charger which is great.
It is another budget phone from Samsung and design is nothing new, classic plastic back with no fingerprint sensor. It is an upgraded version of A10. M10 has a dual sim slot with dedicated sd card storage.
You get an HD+ display with water notch and the display is okay. It has a 3400 mAh battery and comes with a 10-watt charger.
For the processor, it has Exynos 7872 which is a Hexa core processor. Exynos 7872 has 2 ARM Cortex A73 cores at 2.0 GHz and 4 ARM Cortex A53 at 1.6 GHz. It can run PUBG and asphalt 9 at medium settings
It has 2 variants, one is of 2 GB another is 3 GB, go for 3GB variant it will be better and you will have more memory for multitasking.
The rear camera is of 13+5 MP and the selfie camera is of 5 MP. M20 and M10 have the same camera and there is only minor changes. Photo is great but selfies lack clarity. The images look pathetic at night.
It is the successor of A10. The only difference is that you get a little bit powerful processor and you get a fingerprint sensor.
This is the cheapest and the oldest Samsung phone. A10 comes with a polycarbonate back with a glossy finish. It has 2 sim slot and a dedicated SD card slot.
The has a 6.2 inch IPS LCD HD+ display with 272 PPI density. The screen has a V notch display and Samsung calls it an Infinity V display. It is a 720p display nothing special.
For performance, it has an octa-core Exynos 7884 pared with Mali G71 MP2 GPU. It is only available in one version i.e is 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. The performance is average, good for browsing or using social media sites. It scored 89917 in the Antutu benchmark.
A10 is powered by 3400 mAh battery and on video loop test it scored 15 hours, well that’s pretty great.
On the back, you have a single 13 MP camera and 5 MP front camera. The photo is okay cant expect more from a single camera.
